2. Digital Workplace
Digital workplace leaders face a complex web of challenges: optimizing costs, delivering foundational productivity tools, improving digital employee experience, enabling hybrid work and deploying everyday AI. To succeed in these objectives, digital workplace leaders must set a digital workplace application strategy that guides application selection and transforms the digital employee experience.
The Digital Workplace initiative seeks to transform workplaces in Uganda and East Africa by deploying STEM-driven digital solutions to address low digital maturity, infrastructure gaps, and gender disparities. Targeting small and medium enterprises (SMEs), public institutions, and youth/women-led organizations, the project enhances productivity, enables hybrid work, and integrates generative AI to improve digital employee experiences (DEX).

3. Tujulize Uganda: Empowering Citizens Through Digital Governance
Tujulize Uganda is an innovative platform designed to bridge the gap between citizens and local governance hence increasing their knowledge levels. By leveraging accessible technology, it empowers Ugandans to report service gaps, track district budgets, and engage in governance regardless of their technical skills or location.
The platform addresses unique challenges faced by different user groups - from rural farmers with basic phones to tech-savvy urban youth activists. Through culturally sensitive solutions, Tujulize Uganda counters disinformation, protects digital rights, and fosters an informed, resilient citizenry even during internet disruptions.
